Evenflo High Chair Recall 2009 - Evenflo High Chairs Can Cause Falls and Choking Hazards

Ohio company Evenflo have chosen to recall their Envision and Majestic high chair models because of the possible risks it can inflict to infants using these products. These recalled Evenflo high chairs may cause harmful falls and unintentional choking hazards to babies ages six months to two years. Today, April 2 2009, Evenflo has volunteered to recall an estimated "643,000 Envision high chairs and expanded a recall of 90,000 Majestic model high chairs" according to MSNBC. This Evenflo high chair recall was triggered by more than 320 complaints Evenflo received from parents who used these high chair models. The seatback reclining and detcahing function has been deemed defective for these models. Some of the Evenflo Envision High Chair model has been produced from China. Evenflo sold these in stores from December 2002 through April 2006 for a price range of $80 and $110. With this Evenflo high chair recall, this goes to show that Evenflo is exercising its concern for the welfare of their clients
