According to the latest World Health Organization (WHO) update, Influenza A(H1N1) has been reported in 100 countries and territories. All over the world, there are 52,160 who are infected, where 231 people succumbed to the dreaded disease. The most cases are found in the United States, with 21,449 people who contracted A(H1N1). In Mexico, where this flu originated, has its H1N1 cases stabilized with 7,624, while Canada has 5,701 cases.
In the Philippines, a 49 year old woman posted the first fatality in Asia. The WHO warned that more cases might still be unreported because of data-gathering in some countries are not well-documented.
