Matchbox 20 lead vocalist Rob Thomas recently shared the good news that his wife Marisol Maldonado is now recovering from an auto-immune disease called lupus. In fact, Marisol already agreed to star with him in his new music video in a song that was especially dedicated to her. Appearing in Today Show July 3 (7/3/09), Rob Thomas sang a new song he wrote for her entitled "Her Diamonds". After a two year struggle with lupus, Rob Thomas is happy that his wife is recocvering well. The song "Her Diamonds" tell us about her experience with it - as Rob Thomas explained: "Basically, the song says, ‘If you need me, I’m here.’ It was the quickest I have ever written a song.
