BGT Results May 28 - Julian Smith and 2 Grand Join BGT Finalists

Britain's Got Talent Semifinal 4 results are in and it was Julian Smith who was largely favored by public voting. However, the BGT judges favored 2 Grand over Callum Francis. 2 Grand is a grandfather-granddaughter singing tandem (76 and 12 years old) from Doncaster. They sang a heart-warming rendition of "Somewhere Out There" that made BGT judge Amanda Holden cry. I don't think 2 Grand were better performers than Callum Francis, but I think the judges cose them over Callum because he's already got a wide theater experience - while 2 Grand is a certified raw talent

So there's already 8 finalists who will perform on the BGT Finale, they are:

Julian Smith "All By Myself" Britain's Got Talent May 28 Performance Video

Julian Smith, a 39 year old saxophonist originating from Birmingham, has wowed the audience with his rendition of "All By Myself". Piers Morgan thought that Julian Smith is one of the coolest contestants they had on the show and Julian can win the competition with his saxophone. Amanda Holden shared that Julian is the "best act" in the BGT semifinals 4 so far. Lastly, Simon Cowell liked Julian as a person because he's humble and he's chosen unique and brilliant songs for them. Julian Smith, a 39 year old saxophone player from Birmingham, leads the 8 performers who will hit the stage tonight May 28 (Thursday 5/28/09 8:30 PM) in Britain's Got Talent (BGT) Semifinals 4. Other exciting performers to watch out in the 4th BGT Semifinals night are Two Grand (a grandfather-granddaughter singing duo from Doncaster) and Callum Francis (a 12 year old singer from Hertfordshire).
