American Idol Eliminates Aaron Kelly, Leaving Top 4 Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox, Casey James & Michael Lynche

That is American Idol Country Crooner, Aaron Kelly, under the black cowboy hat. Aaron Kelley and Michael Lynche were in the bottom 2 on last night's American Idol Results Show.

With Aaron Kelly getting the boot. I thought it was going to be Casey James sent home, after the tongue lashing he was given by the judges after what they seemed to indicate was a borderline criminal offense level of Sinatra song butchering.

But, it would seem the viewers indicated the growing irrelevance of the overly pitchy and bitchy judges.

Harry Connick Jr. was the funniest, best mentor yet. My favorite part was when he chastised the judges for using the non-musical term "pitchy" when the correct musicians term is "out of tune."

I usually do not watch much of the AI Results Show. Last night I did fast forward through the group singalongs, much of Harry Connick's singing and some of the Ryan Seacrest yammering.

I did watch Lady Gaga. Is American Pop Music in desperate straits?

So, Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox and Casey James were the Top 3 this week. Next week is Movie Themed with Jamie Foxx mentoring. Casey James should sing Somewhere Over The Rainbow, just to annoy the annoying judges.

Michael Lynche is Saved, Not Voted Off American Idol April 7

Michael Lynche gets the "save" from judges - in a surprising decision that will change the fate of some contestants next week. American Idol April 7 did not have anyone voted off or kicked off.

Big Mike Lynche and David Garcia are in the Bottom 3 tonight American Idol April 7. With them previously was Aaron Kelly, but he was put back to safety by Ryan Seacrest.

Good for Andrew Garcia - he's been adjudged as safe. Michael Lynche is singing for his life in American Idol 2010.

Didi Benami Voted Off American Idol 2010 March 31

Didi Benami, a 22 year old waitress from Knoxville Tennessee got kicked off American Idol Top 10 March 31 results night. The judges refused to give her their save option. Didi is very emotional about the bad news that Simon Cowell told her. Tim Urban and Katie Stevens was with her in the Bottom 3 in the R&B/Soul performances of the American Idol Top 10.

Didi Benami chose to sing "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac to convince the judges to save her but they did not budge after their deliberations. Didi is going home and it was a tearful goodbye for her.

Next week, the American Idol 2010 Top 9 will sing songs from The Beatles. That will be very interesting.

Didi Benami and Tim Urban in American Idol Bottom 3: Who Will Go Home?

Didi Benami, who sang What Becomes of the Broken Hearted last night, is in the Bottom 3. She's with Tim Urban who had a unsatisfactory Sweet Love performance. Katie Stevens was also in the Bottom 3 but she was adjudged as safe later.

I think Didi is in great danger. Will Tim Urban finally bow out of the American Idol competition after being in the Bottom in three straight weeks? Stay tuned in our live blog post.

American Idol March 31 Results - Who is Kicked Off in American Idol Top 10 Live Blog

It's American Idol elimination tonight after a grueling R&B Soul performances from the Top 10 finalists! Who of them will be in the Bottom 3 and who will be voted off? American Idol Top 11: Who Are in the Bottom 3 List March 24?

After the American Idol Top 11 performances in the Billboard #1 Night, the possible contestants who will be in the Bottom 3 list today are not difficult to predict. The most notable performances last night were Crystal Bowersox Bobby Mcgee, Siobhan Magnus Superstition and Katie Stevens Big Girls Don't Cry. I also personally liked Aaron Kelly I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing and Didi Benami You're No Good.

American Idol Results Show March 24 - Who is Going Home Live Blog

When there are good performances, the bad ones are not far behind. Paige Miles Against All Odds and Tim Urban Crazy Little Thing Called Love were cringe-worthy for the judges. Andrew Garcia is going and going gone if he doesn't come up with an amazing performance. All three of them are sure-fire shoo-ins for the American Idol Top 11 Bottom Three. However, Dial Idol is telling us that Lee Dewyze might be in the list tonight, which is kind of sad because he's got a lot of potential. So for me, my prediction is that the one who'll go home is a toss between Paige Miles or Tim Urban. If Tim Urban survives, he may have to take his shirt off while performing to gather enough votes to stay in the competition. Ha!

The Ford commercial show was shown. Wow, Tim Urban is driving the car. They are throwing colored dyes. Casey James is not in the commercial because he said he's got flu at that time.

Dim the lights and Paige Miles is called. Ryan announced that she's in THE BOTTOM 3! We're in the right track in our prediction.

Whoa, Andrew is safe. Tim Urban is in the BOTTOM 3. We didn't expect that.

Ryan is interviewing Tim Urban and Paige Miles. Who do you think will occupy the last seat in the Bottom 3? Paige Miles says "I Love You, Tim!". We love Tim Urban Shirtless! Ha!

Orianthi is now on stage singing "According To You".

Didi Benami is called next. She sang "Playing With Fire" yesterday. Aaaand she's safe.

Crystal Bowersox is summoned by Ryan next - Crystal Bowersox March 16 You Can't Always Get What You Want. Crystal is , of course, safe.

Katie Stevens - Kara Dioguardi is having second thoughts that she can be the next Idol. Nevertheless, Katie is safe.

It's Big Mike Lynche's turn. He's also safe.

Casey James is safe and the last seat in the BOTTOM is occupied by Lacey Brown.

Tim Urban is declared SAFE. Woot!

Ke$ha is in the house to slightly delay the voting off process. She sings "Blah Blah Blah".

Paige Miles is safe.

Lacey Brown is in danger. I doubt if the judges will save her. She will be going home!

The judges decided that Lacey Brown is to be kicked off American Idol Top 12.

Tyler Grady & 3 Others I Don't Remember Sent Home on American Idol

Of the 4 who got sent home, last night, on American Idol's result show, which I did not watch, the only one who's name I recognized and remembered is Tyler Grady.

He was the Jim Morrison wannabe with unfortunate hair and odd body movements. He seemed like a nice guy with a sense of humor.

The other guy to get the boot was Joe Munoz.

The 2 girls going home were Ashley Rodriguez and Janell Wheeler.

I have no mental image of Joe, Ashley or Janell.

American Idol is not working for me this year. The entertainment factor seems to have taken a plummet. I am fairly certain the plummet is not entirely due to the absence of Paula Abdul.

But, Paula Abdul did provide a good measure of amusing banter and sparring with Simon Cowell.

Kara DioGuardi wears on my nerves. I really don't know why. Something about her seems unnatural and forced. A criticism she levels at the singers at times. I don't think it's her faux pas which tire me, things like saying 1901 when she means 2001. If it continues into next week, the swooning over Casey James is going to really cross way over into this is stupid land.

This year Randy Jackson seems different. Like he is talking in complete articulate sentences with a bare minimum of cheesy slang. Maybe he wised up to the fact that it is not a good look for a man closer to retirement age than teen age to be using teenage type hipster slang lingo.

And then there is Ellen DeGeneres. I've always liked her in any venue I've seen her. Til now. Again, I don't quite know why. She really is not being all that funny. At least to me. I heard Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi on the radio, Live with Ryan Seacrest, cracking up over Ellen's ripen like a banana remark she made on Wednesday to one of the boy singers. I don't think Randy and Kara have what might be called a highly evolved sense of humor.

As for Ryan Seacrest. Did he take How To Act Overly Earnest lessons since last season? He does not seem to be cracking wise as often as I used to enjoy.

And then there are the singers this year. This year the only one, so far, who has somewhat stood out to me, is the aforementioned, Casey James. I did find the taking off his shirt thing a bit embarrassing, but not for him, embarrassing for Kara D to have asked him to do so, and thus begin her chronic swooning.

I am not all that great a judge of who is swoonworthy. Casey James seems like a real nice guy, and even to my tone-deaf ears he seems to sing well, but I don't get the swooning or the Jessica Simpson hairstyle.

On more than one occasion, this year, we've heard at least one of the judges remark that this is the best group they've ever found. I take this as double-speak to actually mean this is the worst group they have ever found.

Because, that's how it seems to me. I may keep watching.

Kris Allen is the American Idol Season 8 Winner!

After being labeled as the "dark horse" among the American Idol finalists, 24 year old Kris Allen from Conway, Arkansas was declared the American Idol winner during the Finale May 20 (5/20/2009).

What would Adam Lambert fans feel? Google trends did not spell him victory. Everyone was just pimping him and it didn't work. Danny Gokey fans voted for Kris, so that may be a factor too.

American Idol Finale May 20 Results - Who Will Go Home and Who Will Be the Next American Idol?

Only one can win the Finale! Who will go home? Who will be declared the next American Idol Season 8 Grand Winner? Kris Allen or Adam Lambert - who ever wins will deserve the 100 million votes (624 million votes this season) that have been cast last night!

Adam Lambert’s journey to American Idol Season 8 is shown onscreen. Adam sings “Beth” by KISS wearing a leather jacket with weird sleeves then he introduces KISS with those white and black painted faces! Their performance was a blast literally because of the fireworks! Watch video.

There's a bevy of guest performers tonight gracing the American Idol Season 8 Finale. Starting with Steve Martin, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Black Eyed Peas, Queen Latifah, Carlos Santana, Pink, Jason Mraz, Keith Urban and American Idol Season 7 Winner David Cook. Watch out for the much awaited duets like Allison Iraheta and Cyndi Lauper, Lionel Richie and Danny Gokey, Kris Allen and Keith Urban - while Carlos Santana will be doing a number with the American Idol Season 8 Top 13 finalists.

Danny Gokey is Out! It's Kris Allen vs Adam Lambert in the American Idol Finals Next Week!

After 88 million votes yesterday, Danny Gokey has finally given his goodbye kiss in American Idol Season 8. So next week it is we will see Adam Lambert and Kris Allen in the American Idol Top 2 Final Showdown for 2009! American Idol is really heating up and I don't know what will happen next week - I guess Kris is giving Adam a good fight. Oh they're former roommates and I guess they won't be mean to each other then... haha!

After winning a coin toss, Kris Allen has the option to choose to go first or last. Of course, Kris prefers Adam Lambert to go first. So we'll see Adam Lambert performing first on May 19!

American Idol Results Night May 13 (5/13/09) will be kicking off in a few hours and I guess Danny Gokey and Kris Allen fans out there are surely nervous about their fate tonight. Although Adam Lambert seems to be included in the Final 2 next week, Dial Idol predictions blurt out that the votes cast last night are too close to call say that they know who will be voted off/booted out tonight. I guess it will be the biggest upset (like what as what Simon Cowell declared yesterday) if Adam Lambert will be leaving American Idol tonight.

There's sort of a comedic spin here. Ben Stiller does the opening and says that Ryan got into a bikini wax mash-up. Okay, that was a clincher... Ben is hyping next week's finals!

American Idol May 13 Prediction - Who Will Be Voted Off/Eliminated in the American Idol Final Week?

They obviously didn't like Danny's dancing and saxophone in his "Dance Little Sister" performance. If the world was fair Danny Gokey would be leaving, but American idol drum-beaters are eyeing for a Danny Gokey-Adam Lambert showdown on the American Idol Finals Night on May 19. So it's possible that Kris Allen will be the one who'll be sent home on the American idol Elimination Night May 13. Thankfully, Dial Idol Predictions suggest that Kris Allen is giving Danny Gokey a good fight in the polls. on the other hand, Adam Lambert sits quite comfortable in his lead between Kris and Danny. We just hope the world is fair, right? I hope Kris Allen makes it, although Danny Gokey-Adam Lambert would be a spectacle to reckon with if he makes it though. May the best man not be voted off!

Allison Iraheta is Voted Off American Idol

Allison Iraheta - the "precocious" 16 year old is kicked out of the American Idol Top 3. Performing a spectacular Janis Joplin original "Cry Baby", Simon thought that her performance was a bit sound-alike. Although most people thought that Kris Allen or Danny Gokey deserved more to go home in the Rock and Roll Week, it was Allison who got the boot. Life is always not fair, so we need to deal with it.
