Michael Lynche Ready For Love American Idol March 30

It's definitely Michael Lynche's night in American Idol Top 10 R&B Soul Night. He's singing Ready for Love by India Arie. Usher, being the mentor, is happy to see Mike's engaging performance.

Randy Jackson tells him that it's not very exciting but Ellen thought it was beautiful. Kara thinks he mastered singing from the heart for the audience to see his true intentions - it was lovely and it's her favorite performance for the night. Mike Lynche When a Man Loves a Woman American Idol Top 11 March 23

Michael Lynche is bringing us "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Michael Bolton. Miley is totally in love with Big Mike's rendition of the song. It was nicely done with wonderful falsettos.

Randy Jackson thought what was wonderful about is that he knows who he is. Ellen complimented the song choice and Ellen thinks "this woman loves you". Kara admitted she lost connection with him - it was kind of "boring". Simon thought he has tons of charisma but he made the song irritatingly "loungy". Michael Lynche "Miss You" American Idol Top 12 March 16

Big Mike Lynche is definitely in his element tonight. Before his performance, Michael Lynche recounted the profound impact of his mom leaving them while he was still younger. Mike sang Rolling Stone's "Miss You". Quite tough singing it with a lot of vocal calisthenics and falsetto parts.

Of course, judges loved his performance. Randy thought Big Mike slayed the song, while Ellen exclaimed that it's a way to start off the American Idol Top 12 night. Yet, Simon Cowell disliked the dancing part. Watch Michael Lynche performance video in American Idol Top 12 March 17:

Michael Lynche American Idol - Big Mike Lynche Out of Leaked Top 24

Michael Lynch American Idol or better known as Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, has been allegedly kicked out of the leaked list of American Idol 2010 Top 24 Finalists who survived the Hollywood round. This is because Michael Lynche's father violated a confidentiality clause when he excitedly announced to a local newspaper (The St. Petersburg Times in Florida) that his son has been chosen as one of American Idol 9's Top 24 contestants!

This is so unfortunate for Michael Lynch American Idol contestant! If you can recall, Mike's brother Marque Lynche also qualified up to the semifinals in 2004. It is part of the confidentiality agreement of American Idol that the singer/contestants and their immediate families must maintain a hush-hush environment about their status in the competition until the broadcast of the show. Oh well, let's bid better luck next time to Michael Lynche!
