How Is Ashton Kutcher Going to Replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men?

I'm guessing it is going to be interesting to see how Ashton Kutcher replaces Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.

Is Kutcher taking over the role of Charlie Parker?

Or will there be some other means to get Ashton into Charlie's house to live with Alan and Jake?

Surely they are not going to do a Bewitched type thing where Dick Sargent replaced Dick York as Darrin Stevens with no explanation, not even something as simple as having Endora cast a spell to change Darrin's looks.

Maybe the plot could have had Charlie having spent extensive time in re-hab, to emerge as a much better looking, taller, version of his former self.

Or they could have Charlie dying in some comic way, to have it revealed that he left his money, royalties and house to his ne'er do well cousin, Ashton.

They could have Charlie in an accident that requires facial reconstruction.

Two and a Half Men will not be paying Ashton Kutcher as much as they paid the ungrateful Charlie Sheen. Sheen got $1.25 million per episode, plus profit participation that brought the total to around $2 million per episode. Ashton supposedly will be getting a measly rumored $625,000 to $800,000 per episode.

$800,000 is more than I make in an entire year. I don't know what I make for an episode.

Charlie Sheen Live Show Gets Panned by Critics & Fans

After Charlie Sheen's one man show was met with boos during its first performance Saturday night, perhaps the actor is learning to embrace a valuable life lesson: You can't win them all.

Or, in his case, you can't even win over most.

Fans and media outlets – many of whom weren't among the 4,700 in attendance – took to the Web with an overwhelming disapproval of Sheen's gig, which made its first stop at Detroit's Fox Theatre. Audience members weren't asking Sheen questions, as the show's description encouraged – they were asking for refunds.

"Sounds like Charlie Sheen was an epic fail tonight," one user Tweeted. "The gig's up. Time to stop giving him attention and get him some help."

Meanwhile, Real Detroit Weekly, a local entertainment newspaper, called Sheen, 45, the "most hated man in Detroit."

Charlie Sheen Sues Warner Bros. for $100 Million

The self-described Warlock otherwise known as the recently fired Charlie Sheen is taking his battle to court.

Sheen filed on Thursday a $100-million lawsuit against Warner Bros. for alleged breach of contract, several days after the troubled actor was fired from his hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men.” Sheen’s firing led to the cancellation of the CBS sitcom’s season, a move that the actor says was illegal. Warner Bros. and CBS decided to cancel the show for the rest of the season following a well-publicized radio rant by Sheen against co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre.

The suit claims that Warner and Lorre had been trying to ease Sheen out of the show even before the infamous rant. “The suspension and termination of Mr. Sheen occurred only after Mr. Sheen had finally been provoked into criticizing Lorre in response to his harassment and disparagement campaign which had been going on for years,” court papers filed by Sheen said.

Warner reportedly cited Sheen’s physical and mental issues in firing him, effectively denying him of his around $1.3 million per episode fee.

Charlie Sheen fired from 'Two and A Half Men'

Warner Bros. Television announced today that it has dropped the actor from its hit comedy Two and A Half Men. “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services from `Two and A Half Men’ effective immediately,” according to a studio statement.

No decision has been made on the future of comedy. CBS still has a deal in place with the studio for a ninth season of Men, which remains the most-watched comedy on television.

Two and a Half Men Ends

CBS has had enough of Charlie Sheen‘s antics. The network and Warner Bros. Television abruptly cancelled the hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men” on Thursday following Sheen’s rant in a radio show.

“Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season,” CBS and Warner Bros. Television said in a statement.

On Thursday morning, Sheen went on air during the “Alex Jones Show” to blast “Two and a Half Men” producer Chuck Lorre, among other targets. In his rant, Sheen called Lorre a “clown” and suggested that the writer known for being behind some of the biggest television shows past and present was an ingrate.

“There’s something this side of deplorable that a certain Chaim Levine — yeah, that’s Chuck’s real name — mistook this rock star for his own selfish exit strategy, bro,” Sheen said. “Last I checked, Chaim, I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.”

CBS Ends Production of Two and a Half Men After Charlie Sheen's Latest Bad Behavior

I had not watched Two and a Half Men for years. And then I got TV on Demand via AT & T's U-Verse. CBS is the only one of the networks to be on AT & T's on Demand list.

Which has caused me to watch CBS shows I'd otherwise not watched.

When I first watched Two and a Half Men again I was surprised to see that Jake is no long a half man.

But, more than Jake being all grown up I was surprised at how, well, raunchy an American TV Sit-Com is in 2011.

During the Seinfeld era I was a faithful TV sitcom viewer. When Seinfeld and Friends left the air it was the end of Must See TV for me on Thursdays. And thus the end of watching sitcoms til now.

Two and a Half Men has not been producing new shows ever since Charlie Sheen's hospitalization last month, followed by supposed re-hab. At home.

And now CBS and Warner Bros. Television have halted production of TV's #1 sitcom for the season, due to  the "totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition."

The statements being referred to were some bad things Charlie Sheen said about his show's executive producer, Chuck Lorre during a radio interview with someone named Alex Jones.

Charlie Sheen's radio remarks are being compared to Mel Gibson's anti-Semetic rant to a traffic cop.

Charlie compounded his problem, after the CBS decision, by sending  an "open letter" to TMZ in which he called Lorre a "contaminated little maggot" among other things.

Charlie also delusionally called on his fans to start a protest movement for him.

At the end of last season Charlie Sheen signed a two year contract that pays him about $1.8 million per episode.

How can someone make that type money doing something fun, like being on a hit sitcom? And then still be so miserable that drugs and alcohol are needed to make you happy?

Or possibly insane.

Sheen made multiple references to violence, calling himself the new sheriff in town, with an "army of assassins."

And that, "If you love with violence and you hate with violence, there's nothing that can be questioned."

Almost $2 million an episode. And insane.

Beverly Hills Housewife Husband Paul Nassif Calls 911 For Charlie Sheen

I don't believe we've seen Adrienne Maloof's and Dr. Paul Nassif's kids on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Or was that their kids in their dad's office getting shown how dad uses a computer to do plastic surgery?

That is Adrienne and Paul and their 3 kids in the picture.

I digress from my intended subject.

So, I was a little surprised to read that the Maloof-Nassif family is the next door neighbor of CBS bad boy, Charlie Sheen.

And that it was Paul Nassif who was the 911 caller who summoned help when his neighbor, Charlie, was drunk and suffering bad stomach pains.

Adrienne and Paul released a statement to the press regarding Charlie, saying, "We are so glad that Charlie made the decision to seek the assistance of a rehabilitation center today. This is something that his friends and family have pushed for, and we wish him all the love and support he will need in the coming days."

This is the first time this year that production on TV's #1 sit-com, Two and a Half Men, has had to come to a stop due to Charlie Sheen checking into a rehab facility. This is the 3rd time in 3 months Charlie Sheen has needed to check in to a hospital.

The character of Charlie Sheen, the person, seems to be very much like the character, Charlie Harper, he plays on Two and a Half Men. Charlie Harper is often drunk, is not averse to drugs, is a womanizer and has been known to hire a hooker or two.

Charlie Sheen, the person, in recent times has been in the news for leaving a New York City hotel torn up, with Charlie in such bad condition he had to be hospitalized. Last summer Charlie plead guilty to assaulting his wife in Aspen, Colorado. And earlier this month Charlie was in the news for some wild partying in Las Vegas.

I will never understand why so many people with charmed lives get themselves so messed up. I like to think if I lived a charmed life, which I don't, that I would find myself enjoying it. Not getting stoned, drunk, violent and requiring my neighbors to call 911 to help me.

But, it would be interesting if I found myself suddenly leading a charmed life and finding myself succumbing to temptations that currently do not tempt me. Somehow I can't see myself tearing up a hotel room. Or assaulting my wife. Or hiring a hooker. I might get drunk, though.

Capri Anderson says Charlie Sheen Puts Hands Around My Neck

An adult film actress who was in Charlie Sheen's hotel room during his New York City meltdown told ABC News that the actor put his hands around her neck and later offered to buy her silence -- but that she plans to file charges and sue.

Anderson said she was hired to escort the "Two and a Half Men" actor to dinner and later went with him to New York City's Plaza Hotel, where he snorted a white powder, kissed her, lifted her skirt, and backed her onto a bed.

"He was, from the beginning of the night, very loud and he had no hesitations when it came to using derogatory language or cuss words," she said in an excerpt from a "Nightline" interview. She added that "towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad. He started yelling racial slurs.

"But it wasn't until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, you have gotten yourself in a bad, bad situation."

Anderson said she tried to flee the actor and hid in a bathroom, and that he tore open her purse and riddled the room with its contents. Police reportedly found the room trashed.

She said Sheen later offered her money not to talk about the night, Oct. 22, which ended with police taking him to a hospital for evaluation. Sheen's spokesman, Stan Rosenfeld, said at the time that he had had an "adverse allergic reaction" to medication.  

Charlie Sheen's lawyer Yale Galanter said in a statement that Anderson "never made any allegation of wrongful conduct on the part of Mr. Sheen the night of the incident. She has posted on her website that she was 'fine' after the incident but if you wanted to see more of her enter the web site for money."

Galanter added: "We will defend this lawsuit vigorously and will never pay her a dime. These allegations against Mr. Sheen are completely false, and are an blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity."

Charlie Sheen Leaves Hospital; No Charges for Now

An NYPD public information officer says that while the department cannot confirm that Sheen was naked when cops arrived, as has been reported, or that he was unconscious, as of now Sheen will not face any criminal charges for trashing his room at New York's venerable Plaza Hotel.

Meanwhile, the hotel hasn't come forward to lodge any complaint against the star.

That's great news for the 46-year-old star, who only has eight days left to really behave himself. His three-month probation stemming from his Aspen, Colo., domestic violence case ends Nov. 2. According to the terms of his Aug. 2. plea deal: "no use of alcohol in excess, or drugs, RX drugs only in prescribed doses; no violation of criminal laws or ordinances except traffic infractions." Any violation would result in a likely jail stint.

Charlie Sheen to serve 30 Days in Rehab

Charlie Sheen pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor assault charge in his domestic violence case  and was ordered to 30 days in rehab as part of a plea deal at a court hearing in Aspen, Colo. In exchange, two other charges were dropped.

The actor was also sentenced to three months probation and must complete 36 hours of domestic violence counseling.

Sheen appeared upbeat in the courtroom. Asked to enter a plea, he told the judge, "Guilty as charged your honor." Asked why he was submitting that plea, Sheen replied, "Because I'm guilty."

The actor added in a statement following the sentencing: "I'm very grateful to the court and to the people of Pitkin County. I look forward to complying with the court's decision, getting on with my life and putting this behind me."

Sheen's lawyer, Yale Galanter, is pleased with the case's outcome, saying, "Charlie got a great sentence, and I am privileged to have been able to do this for him."

The Two and a Half Men star, 44, will be back at work on the set of his hit sitcom Tuesday working on the first episode of the new season.
