ou've likely heard the idiom, "politics makes strange bedfellows." In Tokyo, at the U.S. Ambassador's Residence, the saying came to life as teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, the American and Canadian ambassadors to Japan and nine children from the tsunami-ravaged region of Japan gathered in a small room in front of the international press.
The 17-year-old Canadian pop star walked into the room with the children and squeezed onto a couch with them. The girls and boys, all representatives of some of the hardest-hit communities in northeastern Japan, shyly peered at Bieber as he made small talk with them.

"How old are you?" the singer asked one of the girls.

"17," she replied.

"I'm the same age!" he exclaimed.

A boy read a letter he wrote to Bieber, saying thank you for sharing his time with them. The boy said he was from Otsuchi, a town where half of the city was completely leveled. He bowed and looked pleased.

"Things can get better and things will get better," Bieber told the children, as cameras clicked all around him. "There can only be good times to come from this and my prayers go out to all of your families."

U.S. Ambassador John Roos also hoped it sent a message to a wider audience.

"Events like Justin Bieber's visit to Japan not only lift the spirits of young people in Japan but are an important contribution to the message to the world that Japan is safe to visit and open for business," said Roos.

A portion of the proceeds will go to a charity of Justin’s choosing.

The idea that I could create an amazing fragrance that I love, and actually give back to a charity that matters to me at the same time was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

In a revelation that may crush the souls of teenage girls worldwide, it turns out that teen popstar Justin Bieber may not be a flawless gift from above. Word is, he's actually a bit of a pain in the butt.

Bieber made his fictional TV debut with a two-episode arc on "CSI" last year, and according to co-star Marg Helgenberger, the kid who played a troubled teen was, off-camera, a trouble-making teen.

"I shouldn't be saying this but he was kind of a brat [on the set]," Helgenberger told French Magazine Le Grand Direct Des Medias.

"He was very nice to me," she continued, "but he locked one of the producers in a closet.

Justin Bieber Egg Thrower Arrested

Australian police have arrested a teenager who was allegedly responsible for an egg-throwing incident that occurred during a recent concert by Justin Bieber at the Acer Arena in Sydney.

The Sydney Morning Herald said a 17-year-old from Bondi Junction, an eastern suburb of Sydney, was arrested early Thursday and was charged with break and enter, trespass, and malicious damage. The teenager allegedly broke and climbed into the roof of the Acer Arena, where he pelted Bieber and his dancers with the eggs during the Canadian pop sensation’s April 29 concert in Sydney. The Acer Arena management made a report to police after news of the incident reached social networking sites and a video of the concert was uploaded on YouTube.

The teenager was taken to the Waverley police station after his arrest but was later released on conditional bail. He was ordered to appear before the Paramatta Children’s Court on June 2, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Bieber "told off" by air stewardess

Teen sensation Justin Bieber was told off by cabin crew for "acting like a child" during a flight.
The Baby hitmaker was reportedly scolded by an air stewardess who said he was a security risk after he and his bodyguard walked through the aisle from business to economy class as the plane was moving on the ground, during a Qantas flight from Sydney to Melbourne on Sunday.

According to Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper, he was left red-faced after the staff member told him to "respect my workplace" and told the pop superstar she was treating him like a child because he was acting like one.
The 17-year-old singer then apologised for his behaviour and returned to his seat.

Paul Howes, who was sitting behind Justin on the Qantas flight, wrote about the incident on his twitter page.
He tweeted: "He was a little naughty but did apologise and the flight attendant wasn't out of order."
The day before he boarded the flight Justin was pelted with eggs by a fan during a concert in Sydney.
Although the Canadian singer appeared not to notice and carried on with the show, his fans - who refer to themselves as 'Beliebers' - took to twitter to condemn the egg-thrower.
One wrote: "Dear person who threw eggs at @justinbieber in Sydney, you now have over #9millionbeliebers after you, be afraid! We go harder than hard!

Justin Bieber staged a very successful concert in Stadium Merdeka Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last April 21 as part of his “My World” 2011 Asian Tour. But one funny “boo-boo” happened when he showed up on stage – he greeted his Malaysian fans “Hello Manila!”.
According to a report by Showbiznest yesterday morning (April 23, Saturday), the Canadian international pop teen sensation addressed the Malaysian concertgoers with “Hello Manila!” instead of “Hello Malaysia!” or “Hello Kuala Lumpur!.”
The news about the ‘Bieber BooBoo’ erupted on Twitter after some folks who were able to watch the concert tweeted the funny incident. Although no one was able to capture it on video, the terms “Hello Manila” is now trending in various social networks and it pertains, of course, to what Justin Bieber has said 3 days ago.

Wearing a purple hoodie and a wig of the "Baby" singer's famous haircut, the 18-year-old SNL host impersonated Bieber on the segment "The Miley Cyrus Show" during the comedy TV show.

And, the Hannah Montana star also poked fun at herself and her father Billy Ray Cyrus in the sketch which featuring Vanessa Bayer as Cyrus.

Justin Bieber is 17 and slowly shedding his good-boy, role-model image.

The Canadian pop sensation lost his cool earlier this week after paparazzi hounded him and rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez as they left a Los Angeles restaurant where the couple celebrated the “Baby” singer’s 17th birthday. Bieber was caught on camera giving the middle finger to paparazzi as he prepared to drive off with Gomez sitting in the front seat. The incident, which occurred on March 1 outside Italian restaurant Maggiano’s, marked the first time that the supposedly untarnished young star was seen doing something that the parents of his adoring fans would clearly not approve of.

Bieber later tried to do some damage control as he took to Twitter to apologize for his action. “Had a great bday and at the end of the night we got surrounded by paps and i reacted in a way i know better. im sorry,” Bieber tweeted. “It’s not always easy but I know better than to react in anger.”
