Russell Brand 'Deported From Japan'

British funnyman Russell Brand was deported from Japan on Sunday because of his previous convictions, according to his pop star wife Katy Perry.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star had jetted to the country with the I Kissed a Girl hitmaker's tour entourage but was allegedly held by immigration officials and subsequently expelled from Japan due to prior criminal offences from more than a decade ago.

An angry Perry took to her Twitter.com blog to tell fans of Brand's deportation, writing, "My husband just got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyodreamscrushed.

"It was for priors from over 10 years ago!... But of Course I (love) my Japanese fans & the show #Mustgoon no matter the daily aftershocks or husband kidnappings!"

Brand is open about his past issues with drugs and run-ins with the law at the height of his addiction. He was also arrested last September over a clash with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport.

Katy Perry & Russell Brand Wed in India

Katy Perry and Russell Brand got married in a traditional Indian ceremony at the Aman-i-Khas resort in Rajasthan, India this morning (October 23).

Katy, who turns 26 on Monday, and Russell, 35, exchanged vows in front of approximately 80 guests at the luxury resort near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan, where the British actor popped the question on New Year’s Eve.

The day before tying the knot, Katy was spotted wearing a traditional Indian bridal nose ring, called a nath, as she arrived at India's Jaipur airport. The pop singer also reportedly had henna designs applied on her palms and hands.

Katy Perry, the 25-year-old pop star who prepares to marry Russell Brand on Saturday, has been spotted wearing a traditional Indian bridal nose ring, called a nath, as she arrived at India's Jaipur airport.

The Nath is a gold chain attached to a nose ring that is hooked across the bride-to-be’s right cheek and pinned to her hair above the ear. The ring is worn by brides throughout the wedding day, with the bridegroom removing it on the wedding night as a symbol of the woman's virginity ending.

The happy couple are expected to wed in a traditional Indian ceremony at Rambagh Palace in Rajasthan where Russell proposed to Katy on New Year's Eve. Their family members including Katy's parents and Russell's mother, and other wedding guests, have also been arriving in Jaipur for the wedding.

Russell Brand Arrested for Run-In with Paparazzi

The funnyman was arrested for allegedly attacking paparazzi at LAX airport, TMZ reports. He and Perry were apparently going through security when Brand got mad and started pushing and hitting the photographers.

One photog made a citizen's arrest and the police followed up. The authorities interviewed Brand and took him into custody. He has since been released on $20,000 bail.

Perry later tweeted, "If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me."

Katy Perry saved Russell Brand from being a professional prostitute

The California Gurls singer has recently taken credit in saving her future husband Russell Brand from his days as a “professional prostitute.” Brand has been known to be a former sex and drug addict.

Entertainment news source Us Magazine.com reports that Katy thinks that she and Russell are basically the same person. The singer feels like they are “two divas” inside the house. Being together has made them a better person.

The online magazine quoted Katy: “”He used to basically be a professional prostitute – now he’s not. He’s an extremist, which can be both good and bad. I always needed someone stronger than me and I am, like, a f****** strong elephant of a woman. I say that hopefully in the humblest way I can.”

The couple are set to wed in India this October.

According to X17 Online, during a recent interview on the Graham Norton show, Katy Perry slipped up the news about she and her fiancé Russell Brand being married, saying  "Life's never dull with him - that's why I married him!"

As soon as the words had come out, all the audience and Graham suddenly got shocked by her statement. So the 25-year-old singer quickly corrected herself, adding, "That's why I'm marrying him."

But as the proverb says, water poured on the ground cannot be recovered.

We also remember that Perry is already referring to Brand's mother as her "mother-in-law", and Brand often calls Perry as his wife for some time.
