Ratko Mladic arrested in ‘Serbia’ | News Tycon

Ratko Mladic was arrested in Serbiafollowing an anonymous tip. President Tadic said, “Today we closed one chapter of our history which will bring us closer to reconciliation.” He also said extradition procedures were underway.
Serbia must arrest Mladic, a former Bosnian Serb General sought by the UN war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for genocide and war crime during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war, if it wants to join the European Union.
