The S&M star was performing at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York for The Today Show. As she was passing by throngs of screaming fans while walking towards the stage, one of them reached out and grabbed the 23-year-old.
Her dancers, who were by her side when it happened, sprang into action in no time, pulling Rihanna free from the fan.
It’s good to know that she has recovered from it in no time.
On Twitter, a fan asked her about it: “Rih I NEED to know what you were thinking when that guy grabbed you today!”
The singer replied with a good-humoured tweet: “sumn like “THIS muhfu*ka better not f*ck up my weave” #okaaaayyy.”
