Allison Iraheta is Voted Off American Idol

Allison Iraheta - the "precocious" 16 year old is kicked out of the American Idol Top 3. Performing a spectacular Janis Joplin original "Cry Baby", Simon thought that her performance was a bit sound-alike. Although most people thought that Kris Allen or Danny Gokey deserved more to go home in the Rock and Roll Week, it was Allison who got the boot. Life is always not fair, so we need to deal with it.

Next week the all-male American Idol Top 3 will be singing 2 songs – one is their favorite and one will be the judges’ choice. That would be something to look forward to, right?

Allison Iraheta had a Donna Summer original "Hot Stuff" in the American Idol 04-21-09 Performance. Randy did not like the arrangement but thought Allison is one of the best singers in the competition. Kara said Allison was right on the lane, while Paula though Allison was authentic. Simon felt that she is an underdog but she was brilliant.

As usual, it was superbly done - Paula said “Same arrangement, but you made it your own.” Randy beams "Nice vocals", Simon the eternal sourpuss said Allison Iraheta was good in performance but her personality seems to be a problem.

Miley Cyrus Roots for Allison Iraheta in American Idol 8

Controversial singer Miley Cyrus had revealed who's her favorite among the American Idol 8 finalists. Miley beamed that it's 16 year old American Idol belter Allison Iraheta who's from Los Angeles California. This was Miley's answer when Ryan Seacrest asked her last April 2 Thursday in a radio interview, she exactly stated: "Allison [Iraheta]'s my favorite! I've been texting with her."

Miley Cyrus will be appearing in American Idol next week April 15, wherein she will appear in a pre-recorded (taped) performance of her newest single "Climb". Aside from Allison, Miley also noted about Adam Lambert "Adam said I looked gorgeous, which was nice!" Well, we just hope Miley's BFF-ing Allison Iraheta won't jinx her to be booted out next week in American Idol Top 8 performances. Last time Allison was in the Bottom 3 and I just hope she performs well on Songs From The Year They Were Born theme!

Allison Iraheta - "Don't Speak" American Idol 8 Performances 31 March 2009

Allison Iraheta gives us another smashing performance by singing No Doubt's Don't Speak, save for the fuchsia dress that was dissed by the judges. Although Allison could have used some techniques to differ from sounding too much like Gwen Stefani, Allison gives it her all. I hope everyone will vote for Allison because it seems she's lagging behind in terms of the votes.
