British singer Leona Lewis is hobbling around on crutches after injuring her leg in a horse riding accident. The "Bleeding Love" star, 24, was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday where she was treated for suspected torn ligaments following a fall from her horse.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Leona was riding... and fell off when the horse started galloping too fast.
"It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble."
But the insider insists Lewis is recovering well and will soon be back in the saddle: "It hasn't put her off riding. She's fine and will be back on her horse soon."
And the pop star refused to let her mishap ruin her plans for New Year's Eve - she still managed to party into 2010 at soul singer Robin Thicke's bash at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
