Rihanna's new Stargate-produced single "Only Girl (In The World)" premiered this morning on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM Los Angeles morning show, and it's quite a jam. It's quite dancey, and there are even elements of trance, circa 2000, for all the long-ago-brain-fried, tweaked-out 40-year-olds out there to enjoy. Something for everyone!
Granted, Ri Ri has done much, much better—especially with Stargate ("Take A Bow"). But this track kind of establishes the fact that she's back to upbeat dance-pop and leaving behind the dreary dirges of Rated R.
MTV News reports that Rihanna's upcoming fifth LP will be called Loud, and that the Barbadian singer said, "I'm done recording the whole album."
