Mel Gibson Gets Probation for Domestic Violence

Mel Gibson has escaped jail term for hitting former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva after he pleaded no contest to a domestic violence charge.

Gibson, 55, was given a three-year probation and was ordered to undergo counseling for one year. The Oscar-winning director of “Braveheart ” will also render community service for 16 hours and pay the costs of the litigation that started last year. According to his lawyer, Blair Berk, Gibson entered the no-contest plea to end the hostile battle, which has also spawned a still-to-be-decided bitter custody battle for their  1-and-a-half year old child, Lucia.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles prosecutors said that they will not file a case against Grigorieva for allegedly trying to extort money from Gibson when she released purported tape recordings of the “Lethal Weapon” star’s profanity laden rants during their fights. In his plea, Gibson admitted to hitting Grigorieva with an open hand, but only because he was trying to protect their daughter. Grigorieva previously said in her complaint that Gibson punched her and broke her tooth during their infamous January 6, 2010 fight.

Mel Gibson Car Accident: Crashes His 2008 Maserati in Malibu

Mel Gibson was involved in a car accident in Malibu at Sunday night .

The 54-year-old actor/director, who is currently embroiled in an ugly custody battle with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva over their 9-month-old daughter Lucia, lost control of his 2008 Maserati at 8:35 p.m. last night on Malibu Canyon Road and crashed it into a rocky hillside. Luckily, he was not injured.

"For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside. He stopped his car at the scene and was contacted by officers from the West Valley CHP Area." sources tell TMZ.

"Gibson told officers in the field he did not know how the car drifted out of the lane and into the hillside," CHP Public Information Officer Leland Tang says.

Gibson’s car was towed from the scene and Driving under the influence is not suspected in the accident. And Tang says that "no citation was issued and no charges will be filed".

Mel Gibson Racy Rant (AUDIO) Released

Mel Gibson is heard using a racial epithet and calling his ex-girlfriend a "whore" in a recording released by a celebrity news website Friday.
The two-minute recording posted by RadarOnline.com includes segments in which a voice sounding distinctively like the Academy Award-winner is heard telling his then-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, that she is dressing too provocatively and that it would be her fault if she were raped. He uses the N-word at one point, and the recording is laced with his profanity.
Grigorieva recorded the actor-director because she was afraid he might harm her, the website reported. The actor is heard on the recording harshly criticizing Grigorieva for the way she dresses. He accuses her of lying to him about having breast implants.
"They just look stupid," Gibson tells her at one point in the recording. "Keep them if you want to. They look like a Vegas bitch, a Vegas whore."
"You look like a (expletive) bitch in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of (N-word), it will be your fault," Gibson is heard telling Grigorieva. "You provoked it. You are provocatively dressed."

Mel Gibson Being Investigated for Domestic Violence

The drama  between Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has now caught the eye of the police.

"An investigation of domestic violence was launched by [Los Angeles Sheriff's] Malibu/Lost Hills station detectives ... involving actor Mel Gibson and his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva," read a statement released Thursday. "The detective in charge of the investigation is currently gathering information regarding the allegations. Due to the investigation being preliminary in nature, no other information is available at this time."

The statement refers to an incident between the couple occurring on Jan. 6, 2010. Attorneys on both sides weren't immediately available for comment.

Mel Gibson's New Racist Rant Against Ex-Girlfriend Oksana

In 2006, the actor famously unleashed an anti-Semitic tirade during his DUI arrest a few years ago. Now the Lethal Weapon star may be in even more trouble after allegedly being taped while using the N-word and spewing a lot of other horrible things.

"You're an embarrassment to me. You look like a f--king pig in heat and if you get raped by a pack of n---ers it will be your fault," Gibson is heard on tape, according to RadarOnline.

Gibson's rep declined to comment on the latest rant, which reportedly comes courtesy of a recording made by baby mama Oksana Grigorieva during an ugly argument at the height of the couple's breakup and custody fight.

If we were Mel's camp, we'd be keeping our mouths shut, too.

Per the website, the star also called Oksana a "whore" and a "c--t," among other unsavory put-downs.

"How dare you act like such a bitch when I have been so f--king nice," he is quoted at one point.

"I am going to come and burn the f--king house down...but you will blow me first," goes another quote.

The not-so-veiled threats are in addition to a slew of inflammatory emails the 54-year-old Gibson supposedly sent that the 40-year-old Russian musician has held on to, presumably for safe keeping in the event she needs them in a court of law.

The Oscar winner is locked in a nasty court battle with Grigorieva, the mother of his nine-month-old daughter, over financial and custody arrangements in the wake of their separation back in April. Oksana has reportedly taken out a restraining order against him after she claimed he got "extremely violent" and punched her twice in the face. Gibson's lawyer described this exchange as a "loud argument."

Gibson, as everyone remembers, made headlines for his notorious drunken outburst in which he yelled at Malibu's Finest after he was busted for driving under the influence in 2006, saying, "F--king Jews...Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."

Gibson's reputation and career took a major hit, especially in the wake of allegations of anti-Semitism in his 2004 blockbuster The Passion of the Christ. But after keeping a low profile and issuing several public apologies, people in Hollywood seemed to forgive and forget.

Oksana Grigorieva, 39, the Russian singer who is Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, has released a new single, Say My Name, on Monday.

The song, which was collaborated on the lyrics with Gibson, is the first single included on Grigorieva’s upcoming album, Beautiful Heartbreak.

"It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate. It is n*ked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul." People magazine quoted Grigorieva as saying.

Mel Gibson Baby DNA Test: Mel Gibson Demands Paternity Test On Russian Girlfriend Oksana’s Child

Mel Gibson is reportedly requiring a DNA test on the baby his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant with to know if he is the real father of the unborn.

According to reports, Mel Gibson made the decision after hearing the opinions of his family members and friends. His seven children and soon-to-be ex-wife Robyn want the 53-year-old to make sure that the unborn child is a rightful heir to his billion-dollar fortune.

"Mel really loves Oksana, but he’s a businessman, too. He really had no choice but to ask for a DNA test,” a close friend to Mel told National Enquirer.

"Mel doesn’t believe that Oksana has been with anyone else, but after hearing misgivings from his children and friends, he decided he had no choice. Oksana wasn’t happy about it, but once her baby is born, there will be a paternity test.” the insider added.
