Apparently, Angelica twitted her opinion that Azkals’ Phil Younghusband should concentrate on playing football instead of entering showbiz. It’s actually Angelica’s reaction to the news about Phil Younghusband starring in an indie film.
This prompted some Azkals’ fans to react negatively against Angelica’s tweet including a fan Baby Morales (@anilmorales). They had an exchange of derogatory remarks with one another that compelled the latter to delete her Twitter account.
The controversial exchange of tweets are still on Angelica’s Twitter account as of this posting.
Younghusband, on the other hand, clarified that his role in the upcoming movie is his way to promote football.
“I don’t think Angelica probably realized it. The indie film was not me acting. It’s not about me getting into acting or being an artista. It’s about football. It’s about promoting football. Maybe she just misunderstood it,” he explained.
