Lady Gaga Offers Up Honky Tonk "Country Road Version" Of "Born This Way"

Today Lady Gaga served up the "Country Road Version" of her smash "Born This Way." Maybe she's trying to appeal to the demo that still pays for music (though she really needn't bother — the single has been #1 for six weeks running).

Really, this sounds more blues than country to me, but whatev. In addition to a new version, there are also some new lyrics. "If I wanna make it country, baby, that's okay, 'cause I was born, I was born, I was born this way," Gaga sings. Next she adds, "From London, Paris, Japan, back to USA, yeah I was born on the road, I was born to be brave."

I think I like this.
