Sela Ward joins CSI NY

Sela Ward has joined the cast of CBS' "CSI: NY." This comes a mere day after Melina Kanakaredes announced that she will be leaving the series. Ward is in as an experienced investigator hailing from Washington D.C., According to the network, her work is driven by her empathy for the victim. Ward makes her first appearance in the season premiere this fall. "We are delighted to have Sela joining 'CSI: NY'," said executive producer Pam Veasey.
