Justin Bieber And Sijoux for PETA


With one hand on a microphone and the other holding a canine friend, music phenomenon Justin Bieber stars in an ad campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia urging Filipinos to always adopt and never buy animals. The ad, which plays on the title of Bieber’s record-breaking album My World 2.0, reads, “My World Includes Compassion for Animals. Yours Should Too.” The campaign is being launched in anticipation of Bieber’s upcoming concert in the Philippines.

The 16-year-old musician has a dog named Sam, and in an exclusive interview, Bieber urges prospective dog guardians to visit animal shelters. “It’s really important that people adopt,” says Bieber. “I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog that has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”

Bieber is the latest celebrity to join PETA in speaking up for animals Other celebrities who have supported PETA’s campaigns include Lea Michele, Yasmien Kurdi, Olivia Munn, Eva Mendes, Pink, and Twilight‘s Christian Serratos.
