Miss India Wins the Crown of Miss Earth 2010

Twenty year old Nicole Faria of India was crowned as Miss Earth 2010 Saturday, December 4.
Faria beat 83 other contestants from around the world to become the second Asian to win the title. She also took the Miss Talent Award.
Miss Air or First Runner-Up is Jennifer Pazmino of Ecuador. Miss Water or Second Runner-Up is Watsaporn Wattanakoon of Thailand. Miss Fire or Fourth Runner-Up is Yeidy Bosques of Puerto Rico.
Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos of Brazil crowned her successor.
The new Miss Earth will also become a spokesperson to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
The pageant was held at Nha Trang, Vietnam and hosted by Marie Digby, Jennifer Pham and AXN‘s Sony Style host Oli Pettigrew. Guest performances were rendered by Ronan Keating and My Linh.
Countries who became finalists were Japan, South Africa and Venezuela.
The following countries meanwhile made it to the semi-finals:  Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, United States and Vietnam.
Miss Guatemala took home the Miss Friendship Award while Miss Photogenic went to Miss Thailand.
