U.S. Chart Roundup: Lady Gaga Is #1, And There Are Three "Fuck" Songs In The Top 10

Much has already been made of this week's milestone Billboard Hot 100 chart, so let's just recap:

* Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" has debuted at #1
* "Born This Way" is the 1000th single to top the Hot 100
* The first #1 on the Hot 100: Ricky Nelson's "Poor Little Fool," in 1958
* This is is Gaga's third single to top the Hot 100
* "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" were the other two
* "Born This Way" sold 448,000 downloads between last Friday and Sunday
* It's now the fourth-best debut sales week ever for a digital single
* It also marks the best opening sales week for a female artist
* It's the first #1 containing words "drag," "gay," "lesbian" & "transgendered"
* "Born This Way" is the 19th single to debut at #1

Billboard also points out another chart achievement this week: the cast of Glee has notched a grand total of 113 song entries on the Hot 100 to date, which now surpasses the record 108 by Elvis Presley.

That's great and all, but the publication clearly overlooked the MAIN triumph on the new chart: all three current hits with the word "fuck" in the title—Pink's "Fuckin' Perfect," Enrique Iglesias' "Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)" and Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You"—are finally in the Top 10 together (now that Cee Lo's had a Grammys-fueled rebound).

And, even better, all three songs are stacked on top of each other at #5 through #7. So it's like they're—well, you know...

Pink's 'Greatest Hits' Finally Goes Top 10

Almost three months to the day since it was released, Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! has finally cracked the Top 10 of Billboard's Top 200 album chart. The publication reports today that the collection of brawlin' pop jams has climbed to #9 on the new chart, which will be officially published tomorrow.

Last week Pink's second single off the album, "Fuckin' Perfect," moved up to #2 on the Hot 100. Here's hoping "Heartbreak Down" (a far better song, in my opinion) gets the same love—if it even gets a full-on single release.

US Chart Roundup: It's Another Top 10 Hit For Pink And Max Martin

Well, Pink might be preggers, but that isn't keeping pop's toughest broad from fighting her way up the charts. "Fuckin' Perfect" becomes her 11th Top 10 hit in the U.S. this week (not counting the atrocity that was "We Are The World 25") as it jumps nine positions to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's also her fifth Max Martin-produced single in a row to crack the Top 10.

Over on the Top 200 album chart, Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! climbs to a new peak position of #11.

"Fuckin' Perfect" has the good fortune to be accompanied by a powerful—if not a bit graphic—music video. Meanwhile, Rihanna attempted a shocking video with "S&M," and it did apparently get banned in 11 countries. But overall the clip just comes across like something we've seen time and time again—and it's been done way better by others. "S&M" moves up from #90 to #66.

Elsewhere, Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" slides up 15 positions to #69. That's always been a good number in my book, and I'm sure in Adele's, too. Unless, of course, it ends up being Rihanna's three-foot-high red afro between her thighs, holding a riding crop. In which case I'd tell her to go chase pavements.

UK Chart Roundup: Ke$ha Whores Her Way To #1, Adele Sells A Boatload Of '21'

That $14 million lawsuit looming over Ke$ha's head, filed by her former management firm, might as well just be a bunch of blah blah blah—for today at least—since the fairy tale-hating hooker's "We R Who We R" has topped the new UK chart.

Well, okay—if someone was suing my ass for a few mill, I'd probably be more concerned about that than the 90,000 downloads I sold of my single overseas. At least Tra$ha can smile knowing "We R Who We R" is now her highest-charting song in the UK (and only the second to reach the Top 10, after "Tik Tok" peaked at #4).

Elsewhere, Chase & Status' ravey "Blind Faith" debuts at #5, giving the duo a career high single on the UK chart.



And that brings us to Pink, who's "Perfect" (aka "Fuckin' Perfect") enters at #21 a month before its official release date (chalk it up to the mucho-graphic video's premiere and coverage). Here in the States, Pink's single is at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, but will no doubt jump much higher now that it's been the top download on iTunes for the past week.

Over on the Brit album roundup, Adele's sophomore release 21 easily debuts at #1 after selling upwards of 208,000 copies. Meanwhile, her single "Rolling In The Deep" drops from #2 to #3.

US Chart Roundup: Britney Plummets While The Fuck Songs Keep Climbing

Now that the frenzy over Britney Spears' new-ish single "Hold It Against Me" has blown over, the Dr. Luke/Max Martin dance-pop jam winds up being unable to sustain a lengthy stay at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and thus plunges to #6 like a scrawny one-eyed whore who just spotted a nickel on the ground in the alleyway behind Rite-Aid on a Sunday morning. This past weekend "Hold It Against Me" debuted at #6 on the UK chart.

Elsewhere, Enrique Iglesias' sex jam "Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)" inches up to #4, matching the peak of his 2010 hit "I Like It." And just outside the Top 10, Pink's "Fuckin' Perfect" hops from #30 to #11 thanks to the premiere of the somewhat graphic music video.



I love it when inspirational songs have "fuck" in the title and blood on the wall.

Another chica who takes a tumble on the chart this week is Avril Lavigne, who's "What The Hell" drops from #13 to #31. I don't really know what else to say about that song other than it's paper-thin and simply not that memorable. Like, I never find myself thinking, I really need to hear that song...now!

On a final note, Adele's "Rolling In The Deep"—a #2 single in the UK this week—climbs from #97 to #84.

US Chart Roundup: The Results Of The Britney Vs. Avril Lavigne Vs. Kanye & Jay-Z Battle

We've already gone through this twice this week, so no need to ramble on about Britney Spears debuting at #1 with "Hold It Against Me," thereby giving her a fourth chart-topping single and producer/God Max Martin his 10th, etc. So let's move ahead...

Avril Lavigne's "What The Hell" enters the Billboard Hot 100 at #13, which shows the power of radio airplay—something Britney's single was aided by, but Avril clearly was not. For a few days after being released, "What The Hell" was just beneath Britney at #2 on iTunes. But then she flip-flopped with Kanye West and Jay-Z's "H.A.M." (which enters at #23). In the end, both of those singles got barreled over at radio in lieu of Britney and slid down the digital store's song chart.

Now that the holiday craziness has settled for good, Edward Maya's "Stereo Love" is able to jump back up to its previous peak position of #16. Another climber: Pink's "Fuckin' Perfect," which moves up 27 positions to #30 and is the Hot 100's "airplay gainer" this week. If we're to include the collaborative 2001 cover of "Lady Marmalade," this now gives Pink a total of 17 Top 40 singles in the U.S.

One of my guilty pleasure jams from last year, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's "Don't You Wanna Stay," is at #43 this week. That's just a good old-fashioned duet, like something you'd expect Peter Cetera to have cranked out with some broad in the '80s.

On a final note, album sales really appear to be in the dumpster (more so than usual) in 2011. Cake's Showroom Of Compassion debuts at #1, but has posted the worst returns (44,000 copies) for a top album in Nielsen SoundScan history. It seems like only yesterday when the Dreamgirls soundtrack set the record low, with 60,000 copies. Alas, folks, that was exactly four years ago this month.

US Chart Roundup: Britney Spears And Avril Lavigne Can't Debut Soon Enough

We're a week away from seeing how Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" and Avril Lavigne's "What The Hell"—currently #1 and #2, respectively, on iTunes—affect the Billboard Hot 100. But until then, it's pretty much snoozeville in the Top 10.

Taio Cruz's "Higher" cracks the Top 40 this week, at #37. I've managed to somehow completely avoid hearing the American release with Travie McCoy on it (thank Christ). Maybe it's a subconscious boycott since they dumped Kylie, who's on the version released overseas?

And now that Pink's "Fuckin' Perfect" is finally gaining airplay, it re-enters the chart at #57. Lots of Max Martin this week.

Over on the Top 200, Taylor Swift's Speak Now, which is #1 for sixth non-consecutive week, sets record low sales for a top album (52,000 copies). Way to go, Taylor—thanks for fucking up the economy. Terrorist whore.

At least Daft Punk's TRON: Legacy soundtrack climbs to #4. I'm currently have a serious relationship with that album. I think it's love.

U.S. Chart Roundup: Michael Jackson Lands His First Top 40 Hit In Eight Years

It's a quick roundup today, because D'luv's got some last-minute holiday shopping to do down at Hooker Central. And speaking of which, by now you've probably seen Enrique's Iglesias' raunchy video for "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)"? If not, watch here (and wear protection). The song itself climbs to #13 on this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Just underneath Enrique in the video is a pile of strippers. But beneath Enrique on the chart, at #16, is Edward Maya and Vika Jigulina's "Stereo Love." At first I kind of dismissed this single as a useless trash, but I have to admit that it's hypnotized me at this point and made me love it. Well, okay—like it. When I decipher whatever the hell it is that broad is saying in the lyrics, then maybe I'll love it.

With "Hold My Hand" now up to #39, Michael Jackson lands his first Top 40 hit this week since "Butterflies" reached #14 in 2002. Over in the UK, EEEEEEEEEE-Heeeeeee!!!! fares even better, as "Hold My Hand" is currently at #10. I'm currently obsessed with "Monster" off Michael (which debuts at #3 on the Top 200 album chart) myself. It's pretty much my jam du jour.

Two notable debuts: Pink's Max Martin/Shellback-produced "Fuckin' Perfect" goes in at #86, making it the third song on the chart with the ultimate four-letter word in the title (after the naughty version of Enrique's "Tonight" and Cee Lo Green's Grammy nominated "Fuck You"). Meanwhile Mariah Carey's "Oh Santa!" finally crawls into the chart, at #100.

U.S. Chart Roundup: Raise Your Glass To Pink, Who Has Her Third #1 Single

I'm immensely happy to see Pink's "Raise Your Glass" make its way to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Who knew that this broad would still be around all these years later, while the rest of her fellow "Lady Marmalade" singers would fall over into the dumpster, one-by-one?

And, yes—I usually try to avoid mention "Lady Marmalade" in relation to Pink's chart achievements, but in this case I'm doin' it, since it was her first of three #1 singles over the past nine years (the second being "So What" in 2008).

Over on the Top 200 chart, Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! falls from #14 to #29. (Though that's not as disastrous as Nelly's drop from #10 to #39 with 5.0.)

Also loving the rapid succession of #1 singles on the Hot 100 lately. It's especially gratifying, since when I started this blog, it was in the days of some rap song topping the chart for six-to-10 week stretches at a time.

Anyway, Enrique Iglesias' trashy new club jam "Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)" debuts at #18 this week (albeit in it's clean "I'm Lovin' You" form). It's a real Renaissance for the hottest piece of tail in pop, considering he now has two Top 20 singles under his naughty belt in 2010. Previously, his last Top 20 hit was "Escape," which reached #12 in 2002.

Meanwhile, just as "We No Speak Americano" slides out of the Top 40, another dance jam from overseas—Edward Maya's "Stereo Love"—continues to make gains. The tune previously reached #4 on the UK chart back in May, and this week climbs to #26 here in the States.



Other trash: Michael Jackson and Akon's "Hold My Hand" jumps from #84 to #50, Christina Aguilera's "Show Me How You Burlesque" debuts at #70 and David Guetta and Rihanna's "Who's That Chick" enters at #73.

U.S. Chart Roundup: Rihanna Makes Hot 100 History With "Only Girl (In The World)"

This week Rihanna not only becomes the first female singer to nab four #1 singles within one year on the Billboard Hot 100, she's also the first artist ever to have the first single from an album top the chart after the second single did.

Yes, RiRi's "Only Girl (In The World)" has finally inched its way to the top spot, two weeks after her second Loud single "What's My Name" was #1. Earlier this year she ruled with both her hooker jam "Rude Boy" and Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie."

Meanwhile, over on the Top 200, Rihanna settles for a #3 debut with Loud, behind Susan Boyle's The Gift (#1 for a second week) and 10-year-old Pittsburgh native/America's Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho's O Holy Night (#2). That's right—bow to SuBo's powerful thong, you amateurs!

Back on the Hot 100, just behind Rihanna is Pink's "Raise Your Glass" at #2. Her only other single to chart higher (not counting collaborative cover "Lady Marmalade" or shit "We Are The World 25") is "So What", which reached #1 two years ago.

It's annoying to think of that time period in the early '00s where labels by and large weren't offering CD singles in the U.S., and the iTunes store wasn't around yet. Because surely "Get The Party Started" would have been a #1 hit, rather than peaking at #4 on airplay alone? At any rate, Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! debuts at #14 this week over on the Top 200.

Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You" finally cracks the Top 10 (#9), likely thanks to last week's episode of Glee. Gwyneth Paltrow's own tame version of "Forget You" from the episode debuts at #11.



And, hey—maybe this will pave a highly fuckable path for Enrique Iglesias' new single, "Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)"?

On a final single note, Michael Jackson and Akon's duet "Hold My Hand" debuts at #84. Currently it's up to #30 at the iTunes store. Will this will become MJ's first Top 40 hit in nearly 10 years, Jacko fans? Eeeeeeeeeeee-Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And on a final album note, 2010 American Idol winner Lee DeWyze appears to be dead on arrival. His debut LP Live It Up pretty much kicked the bucket with its #19 debut.

Rihanna's red wig made her look like Jennifer Beals in Flashdance, Pink strangely sounded a bit off for once (give her a break—she's pregnant!), Christina Aguilera looked like a stripper (business as usual) and the much-hyped New Kids On The Block vs. Backstreet Boys mashup was pretty anticlimactic.

U.S. Chart Roundup: Rihanna & Drake Fall, Pink Climbs And Glee's "Teenage Dream" Comes True

Some interesting trash going on in the Billboard Hot 100 this week, starting with the fact that Rihanna and Drake's "What's My Name" plummets from #1 to #7. And I know I said last week that it's one of her most forgettable singles, but—dammit!—that effing song is actually growing on me now. I think if it had Drake stripped out altogether, a la how she's been performing the tune during her TV appearances all week, it would take on a whole new dimension of pop radness. Alas—well, dropping to #7 says it all, really.

That brings us to Pink, whose "Raise Your Glass" hops up from #7 to #4. It's shocking to think that, if we don't count the collaborative 2001 cover of "Lady Marmalade," this is really only Pink's fourth Top 5 hit, following "Most Girls" (#4, 2000) "Get The Party Started" (#4, 2001) and "So What" (#1, 2008). I, for one, have been jamming all week to her Greatest Hits...So Far!!! Yeah—she got my cold hard  cash for that one. She's gonna need it to buy that kid she has on the way some leather or brass knuckles.

Debuting at #8 is Darren Criss' Glee cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," a week after the original version dropped out of the Top 10. So far it's become the best-selling single during a one-week period from the Fox series, even though it didn't quite land as high as "Don't Stop Believing" (#4, 2009) on the Hot 100.

On a final note, the Black Eyed Peas' absolutely wretched "The Time (The Dirty Bit)" debuts at #12. If ever there was an uninspired, rushed single that deserves to flop...

It's The Full Versions Of Pink's "Whataya Want From Me" + "Heartbreak Down"

After hearing the snippets of Pink's rendition of "Whataya Want From Me" (which she co-wrote, and Adam Lambert turned into a hit earlier this year) and "Heartbreak Down" last month, the full versions have now surfaced.

"Heartbreak Down" will be on the American edition of Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! (out November 16). "Whataya Want From Me" is on the European release only (super lame).

Between these two songs, "Raise Your Glass" and "Fuckin' Perfect," I say "Heartbreak Down" is the hands-down best jam. What say you?

Pink Pregnant: Pink and Husband Carey Hart Are Expecting?

Pink, the 31-year-old pop singer, is reportedly pregnant with her first child!

According to Us Weekly, Pink and her husband Carey Hart, the 35-year-old professional  motorcross racer, are expecting a baby next year.

"She's 12 weeks along.” a source close to to Pink told, “She wanted to do it between tours, when she has some time off."

Pink and Hart got married in January 2006 and announced their split in 2008 after two years of marriage. The couple were back together over the past year.

“Pink was determined to make the relationship solid. Now she’s really happy, and she’s excited she got pregnant so fast! She’ll be a brilliant mother.” the insider added.

Pink Is "Fuckin' Perfect" On New 'Greatest Hits... So Far!!!' Song

I'm a little bummed Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! has to go toe-to-toe with Rihanna's Loud when both albums are released November 16. Pop's toughest broad deserves major props for the decade of hits she's delivered, and you kinda wish her collection was sailing in on some quiet Tuesday where there was no other major competition.

At any rate, with new single "Raise Your Glass" nestled at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week, "Fuckin' Perfect," one of the other new songs from Pink's hits set has now surfaced.

We first heard a short clip of it (along with another newie, "Heartbreak Down," and her version of "Whataya Want From Me") over the weekend. Here's the full thing:

Pink “Raise Your Glass” Video

Pink has just released the music video for her new single, "Raise Your Glass," the lead single off her forthcoming Greatest Hits ... So Far!!! album, due out November 16.

Pink has said that she wrote the song for all the underdogs “who feel left out from the popular crowd”. The 31-year-old singer poses as Rosie the Riveter, a feminist icon during World War II, in the Dave Meyers-directed clip.

Pink Celebrates The Underdogs (And Looks Like A Hot Bitch) In Her "Raise Your Glass" Video

The music video for Pink's current Top 10 hit "Raise Your Glass" has finally arrived, and it finds the spunky singer rooting for the underdog in all of us.

The pixie-coiffed pop rebel snarls, wears different costumes and beds down with various religious figures in the clip while gay boys kiss, fat girls get happy, sad people find hope, hookers shoot bottle rockets out of their hee-haws, nuns do the Madison and trannies wearing ball gowns descend down stripper poles in upside-down splits. (Hey—this is starting to sound like Katy Perry's "Firework" video!)

OK. So I made some of that up. But you get the point. Ultimately the video wants to be more of a good time than it actually is, but it's still a fun ride.



Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!!—which will also contain the new songs "Fuckin' Perfect" and "Heartbreak Down"—is out Tuesday, November 16, and you can pre-order it as of today on iTunes.

The U.S. version of Pink's upcoming Greatest Hits...So Far!!! will contain two three new songs—her current Top 10 single "Raise Your Glass" and "Fuckin' Perfect", both of which are Max Martin and Shellback productions.

Meanwhile, the international version will also have "Heartbreak Down" [UPDATE: So will U.S. version] and Pink's version of "Whataya Want For Me," Adam Lambert's hit song that Pink co-wrote.

Why do we always get shafted with these things, you might be asking? Because Pink wants you to suffer, chyldryn. And there you go.



"Heartbreak Down" sounds like the standout from all three of these. It actually seems like it could be a better jam than "Raise Your Glass."

Pink's "Raise Your Glass" Becomes Her 10th U.S. Top 10 Single

Pink has every right to knock one (or three) back herself this week, as her Greatest Hits...So Far!!! single "Raise Your Glass" climbs up one position to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and becomes her 10th American Top 10 hit (not counting that abomination that was "We Are The World 25," which I've stated before makes me want to swallow glass).

"Raise Your Glass" is also her highest-charting U.S. hit since "So What" reached #1 back in September 2008. (Stick with Max Martin, girl!) And I have to say, this jam is a total grower. I wasn't completely smitten with it at first, but hearing it on the radio over the past couple of weeks has proven to be a pleasant surprise each time. Good on ya, Pink. Looking forward to the greatest hits (out November 15) finding a permanent home in my car next month.

Elsewhere, Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP's international dance hit "We No Speak Americano" climbs up to #29, Shakira's "Loca" jumps up 52 spots to #32 (thus giving British rapper Dizzee Rascal his first American hit) and Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" debuts at #78.

On a final note, Natasha Bedingfield goes in at #95 with new single "Strip Me." Jesus. This song, "Babies"—what is it with these repressed religious girls?

U.S. Chart Roundup: Far East Movement Fly Like A G6 To The Top Of The Hot 100

And so club-crawling booze enthusiasts Far East Movement (and thus, the "featuring" Cataracs and Dev) climb to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with their "Booty Bounce"-sampling "Like A G6." You just knew that was inevitable.



"Like A G6" sort of won me over in the way that, if I hear it on the radio, I won't switch it off just yet. At first I wanted to ram a screwdriver in my ear upon hearing it. And now—well, I'd never pay to download this trash, but I don't mind it at a respectable volume in the background.

Moving on, Pink jumps from #51 to #11 with her new Max Martin/Shellback-produced jam "Raise Your Glass." The song is already #1 in Australia, a country that I feel appreciates the radness of Pink far more than America does. If this single doesn't at least go Top 10, I'll be crafting a voodoo doll in the likeness of Clear Channel chairman Lowry Mays. And I have really long pins.

This brings us to the Mike Posner, a total douche an artist I expressed my apprehension about last week. This week his latest synth-drenched single "Please Don't Go" climbs 20 positions to #34.

And as I hinted at back in July when Yolanda Be Cool And DCUP's "We No Speak Americano" topped the UK chart, it hasn't taken long for us Yanks to embrace this novelty hit. The monotonous Aussie dance jam cracks the Top 40 this week and moves up to #36.
