Carrie Prejean Marries Oakland Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller

Former beauty queen Carrie Prejean picked up a new title on Friday: Mrs. The former Miss California USA - who was stripped of her crown last year - said "I do" to Oakland Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller in San Diego. The couple wed at Capella Church inside the Grand Del Mar hotel. The bride wore a one-shoulder mermaid style gown and her groom donned a traditional black tux. The couple left their reception in a Rolls Royce. Prejean, 23, and Boller, 29, met last July and have been engaged since February.

Prejean received national attention in 2009 through a series of events that occurred after pageant judge and gossip blogger Perez Hilton used his final question in the Miss USA pageant to ask Prejean about same-sex marriage laws in the United States, and used his popular gossip blog to publicize her response. Hilton, who is gay, thought that her views were prejudicial. Later, Prejean was stripped of her Miss California USA crown for alleged breaches of contract. Contentious litigation between Prejean and the Miss California organization was settled in November 2009.
