American Idol Reject sues for $300,000,000

Ian Bernardo, the American Idol reject who caused a ruckus during a live telecast by snatching away Dane Cook‘s mic, has filed a $300,000,000 lawsuit against American Idol.

Bernardo claims that he suffered emotional injuries and lost employment opportunities due to the actions of the producers of American Idol. Celebrity news source TMZ.com reports that Ian was supposedly instructed to “gay it up” and that American Idol producers had exploited his sexual orientation.

In the legal document filed with the NY State Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, he claims that he was threatened by Dane Cook after the live program and was told by the producers to leave the building because he was “not safe.”

The American Idol reject also claims that he was already exploited way back in 2006.
